- Prepare 70 gr of hunkwe flour (any color you wish).
- Prepare 120 gr of sugar (can be less if you prefer less sweet Cantik Manis).
- Prepare 500 ml of coconut milk from 1/2 of coconut.

- It's 40 gr of sago pearl (you can give color as you wish).
- It's 1/4 of tsps of vanilla extract (or powder).

- Mix well the hun kwe flour with 250ml of coconut milk. Boil the remaining 250ml of coconut milk with the pandan leaves, sugar, vanilla extract and salt; once it’s boiled, pour the rested hun kwe coconut milk mixture..
- Cook it until it pops about. Remember to stir gently to avoid burning and sticking. Turn off the fire..
- Pour the rested sago pearl into the well cooked hun kwe. Mix well..
